Pursuant to a January 21, 2025 Public Records Request to San Francisco Unified School District (“SFUSD”), the district responded with this letter on March 3, 2025. The letter indicates that the ethnic studies curriculum is being “continuously revised” but is currently available at this website:

This Ethnic Studies Model Curriculum appears to break into units that are entitled Building Community, Self and Stories, Power and Privilege, Beliefs and Bias, Activism and Action, Queering Black History Month, and Black Studies Infusion Lessons.
The request concerning the 2024-2025 school year was for:
1. All curriculum for the class Ethnic Studies
2. All curriculum for the class Ethnic Studies Honors
3. All curriculum related to Israel and/or Palestine in any history class.
4. All professional development offered to teachers related to Israel and/or Palestine.
However, the response appeared to be only responsive to the first request for the class “Ethnic Studies,” but it did not appear to contain curriculum for the other three categories, including the class “Ethnic Studies Honors,” and curriculum and professional development related to Israel and/or Palestine. Jewish Legal News is following up with the district on gaining access to these three additional categories and requested the district’s response by March 11, 2025.
